Obituary of Jack Leishman

Leishman: Jack Sanford (Veteran of WW II) Passed away at the Carveth Care Centre on Thursday April 14, 2011 at the age of 87. Husband of the late Barbara Leishman. Survived by his children Tom Leishman and his wife Joan of Mississauga, and Laurie Lindop and her husband Donald of Gananoque. Jack had four granddaughters Terrie (John) Wood of Stittsville, Sarah (Matthew) Gilmour of Inverary, Janet (Poul) Nielsen of Toronto and Mary (Tim) Dickinson of Ottawa, and 3 great grandchildren Cullen Wood, Abigail Gilmour and Julia Nielsen. Also survived by his sister Norinne Lowrey of Orillia, and brothers Bill (Shirley) of Mississauga and Gananoque and Bob (Lois) of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by his parents Vada and Karl Leishman and a brother Gordon in infancy. Respecting Dad's wishes cremation was immediate. A private family burial will take place. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children, Christ Church, Gananoque, or the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
