Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Monday April 4, 2011. Donald Carpenter beloved husband of the late Mildred Nellie Guild. loving father of Glen(Lorna), Barbara Baird (Charlie Brown) and Bruce (Rita). Dear Grandfather of Allan (Laurie), David, Dale, Laurie Thompson (Jamie), Angela Carpenter-Walsh, Amy Schur (Dave), Adrian Robbins, Scot (Jen) and Wayne. Great Grandfather of Stephen, Elizabeth, Brooke and Chase Carpenter, Chelsea and Dylan Thompson, Rielly and Sydney Walsh, Ryan Robbins and Landon Carpenter. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden St. Gananoque on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday April 7 at 11am. Interment Gananoque cemetery.
