Recently celebrating her 78th birthday, Lilian was hardworking and dedicated to her business. Her involvement in the day-to-day operations was evident up until a sudden medical emergency on December 26, 2010. She will be remembered by friends, many employees, and especially her family as one of the most stunningly beautiful, determined, respected, strong, warmhearted and loving woman of her time. Lilian and family are grateful to all the doctors, nurses, caregivers and volunteers at the Kingston General Hospital who were so kind and caring during the last few months. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the United Way of Leeds and Grenville (PO Box 576, Brockville, ON K6V 5V7); The Gananoque and District Humane Society; or to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario in Lilian Brown's honor would be appreciated by the family.
