Obituary of William Gilbert

Gilbert: William James (Bucky) Passed away at the Providence Continuing Care Centre on Friday February 4, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Sheila Leavis. Loving father of Sam, Virginia Wellbanks, and Ted. Cherished grandfather of Michelle, Brian, Andy, Mandy, Michael, Daniel, Dustin, Dawn and Dillon. Great grandfather of Matthew, Shane and Tristen Wellbanks. Dear brother of James Jr. (Lucy), Helen Wheeler (Dave), Garry (Brenda), Joyce Gilbert, and Jack (Brenda). Predeceased by brothers David, Stanley and Larry Gilbert and by sisters Reta Huck and Bessie Davis. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 7-9pm. A memorial service will be held in our chapel on Thursday February 10 at 11:00 am. Interment of ashes Gananoque Cemetery. Donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated. The family wishes to thank Amanda at P.C.C.C. for her care and compassion during his last few days.
