Where do I start, I was a newbe at the Legion in 1984, Audrey welcomed me with open heart and arms. We worked many functions together along with your dad. I got to know Tim and Ronnie thru the years, she was always worried about Timmy and we shared many heartaches and many laughs.
Her kind spirit and words of wisdom like "Karen keep your mouth shut" I will not forget. May the memories you have of her stay in your heart forever. Blessings to all the family.

All euchre players send their condolences to the family. Audrey played euchre with us at the Legion every Wednesday when she was available for the past 5 years or so. Audrey was a pleasure to be around, was a very good sport, and got along with everyone. Audrey was a very generous lady and donated prizes and treats for the euchre players on many occasions. Every June for the past 5 years Audrey gave me $20. to pay for a big Fathers Day cake from Costco. I told her she did not have to do this. Her reply to me was,"I know I don't have to but I want to and please don't tell anyone I am paying". I don't think Audrey will mind me telling now. It will take us all awhile to get used to not seeing Audrey at our Wednesday euchre with her great smile and gentle ways. We will all miss and remember Audrey. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family Audrey loved so dearly.

We were very sorry to hear about Audrey. She was a great lady and wonderful person. We have known Audrey for the past 5 years or so playing euchre and crib at the Legion. We also went to the Casino several times for supper with Audrey and some other friends and always had a good time and lots of laughs. Audrey enjoyed playing cards and got along with everyone. Bill & I will miss seeing Audrey at euchre,the Casino, and Legion functions. We will always remember Audrey and all the good times we had over the years.

Audrey was a wonderful, thoughtful mom, grandmother and great grandmother. My last chat with her was when she was delivering the Historical Society newsletter. We had a long talk about the neighbourhood and how it was changing and she talked laughingly about our families and all us kids hanging out around the corner.
