Ian, Sherry, Shelly, Crystal and family. We were away this weekend and got the call from my mum that your dad had passed away, I am deeply sorry for your loss. Your dad and the Huntley family have been a huge part of our lives growing up, many fond memories we have shared. My dad loved telling us stories from the past of his adventures with the Huntley boys, I loved hearing those stories. They sure lived life to the fullest and had some good times along the way. As sad as it is they are not with us anymore, I like to think they are all together now, probably raising a glass and having a good old time.. 6 years ago my lady and I moved to the country, after 5 years of town I needed to get back to the land. Moving out to country is not for everybody and moving onto Selton school Rd was a sure eye opener for my gal from town. Settling into the neighbourhood took awhile as the neighbours usually keep to themselves, except for one "Steam boat" Bill Huntley. From across the field we could here country music coming out of a little white house. Joy was not a country music fan at the time and all the windows and doors got shut. Well as summer went to winter and the music played on Willy came into our family slowly with his kindness and neighbourly care of us and our horses. We will sure miss Willy and his iron 8N tractor (HOWIE). Willy's Sunday country will always be playing on Selton school Rd. RIP my friend and I will see you on the hill for a Pepsi.
