To Mike, Laurie, Jennifer and Katie I am saddened to hear of the loss of your father and grandfather. While I didn't know him, I had the honour to have met you through odd circumstance. As a soldier in the Gulf War, I corresponded with wee Jennifer and upon my return to Canada, you invited me into your home as a guest and treated me oh so very well. I had the opportunity to see Jennifer and Katie all grown up and I am sure you both made your Grandfather very proud. I am sorry for your loss and simple words don't seem enough. God Bless and thank you for occupying a part of my heart.
