Laird: Mai
Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Friday August 24, 2007. Mai Cox, beloved wife of Major William Walton Laird of 63 years. Loving mother of Jacqui Laird (John McNaughton), Vancouver, and James Laird (Diane Lougheed), Kingston. Cherished grandmother of Jeremy, Kimberly, Jocelyn, Rhyan and Wesley. Dear sister of Irene Bursill (England). Predeceased by 1 sister Jacquie Fielder. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Wednesday evening from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from our chapel on Thursday August 30 at 11:00 am. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
