At the Kingston General Hospital followng a brief and courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday August 18, 2010. Kurt Bowman beloved husband of 41 years to Virginia "Ginny" Janke. Loving father of Lyssa Parr (Brady) of London, Lori Higgs (Jamie), and Robb (Mackenzie) of Gananoque. Dearest Grandfather of Rylen and Teagen Parr and Brynn and Kye Bowman. Dear brother in law of Rob and Carol Janke. Dear uncle of Thomas and Kate Janke. Special cousin to Bill and Maureen Bowman. A celebration of Kurt's life will take place at the Gananoque Curling Club 300 William St. S. on Sunday August 22 from 2-4pm. Inurnment will take place in Gananoque cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre), the Canadian Diabetes Assoc. or to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
