There probably would not be a Gananoque Canoe Club today without the exceptional input of Lil. She was a pillar there in the sixties and of course was very well liked and respected by our American friends at Sugar Island. She was a fine lady and the many kids paddling today owe her an unknown debt.

To all of my extended family: I send my condolences on the passing of Aunt Lillian. She was always good to me while growing up. I lost touch with her in the last few years and regret doing so. She will now join Aunt Elsie, Aunt Helen, Uncle John, Uncle Jimmy, Uncle Albert, her daughter Lynne and my mother, Esther. Love you all, John.

My condolences to the family on the loss of Lillian.I know my mother ,Bud Briscoe and Madge Lanigan will welcome her with open arms to continue on playing games until late into the night as they usually did in their lifetime.Actually it never mattered who won except that they had the pleasure of each others company.Certainty, a wonderful lady and good friend.

Debbie and Family you have my deepest sympathy in the loss of your Mom. I feel really bad that I haven't seen her in many years. She was very kind to send me a card when my brother passed away, at that time I spoke with her for a little time. We used to see each other quite often when our children were younger and Jack was alive. We moved away from Gan and lost contact with many family and friends. Your sadness will fade, but your memories will always be with you. I have lost many in the last few years as well and it is very hard. Please enjoy the memories you have and thank God that she is not suffering. May God be with you and your family.
