Obituary of Veronica MacKenzie

MACKENZIE, Veronica (Gerry) died peacefully with her family at her side on June 23, 2010. Gerry was predeceased by her loving husband, Harry, her parents Andrew and Catherine Scharf, and her sister Kitty. She is survived, and will be sadly missed, by her sister Olive Martin of Michigan, daughter Heather (George) and sons Scott and Malcolm (Lisa), grandchildren Scott (Linda), Lindsay, Lisa and Skye, and great-granddaughter Abby. The family would like to give special thanks to Rosie and Nancy in the Stem Cell Unit at KGH for their kindness and support over the past year. A private funeral service will be held at Tompkins Funeral Home in Gananoque. Donations in Gerry's name can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
