Obituary of Peter Britton

Peter Ewart Britton, P.Eng With family by his side, Peter passed away peacefully to join his lifelong partner Jean, in Gananoque an Tuesday August 21, 2007 in his 82nd year. His positive outlook on life, his caring for others and his booming laugh will be greatly missed by four sons John (Janice), Peter, Paul (Diana) and David (Nancy), his grandchildren Ian, Sarah, Daniel, Trevor and Alexandra, and his many Windsor, Toronto and Gananoque friends and the buddies. A consummate engineer, his handiwork is evident through the many things he built from toilets to toiletries, the variety of professional and charitable communities he contributed to, the lasting relationships he cherished, the "no way" bridge contracts he always made and the strong family foundation he and Jean created. His love of travel, bridge, golf, a party with family and friends and most particularly his exciting journey with Jean made it all worthwhile.
