Leakey: Wilford George In his 95th year surrounded by his children at his bedside on Saturday February 13, 2010. Wilford Leakey beloved husband of 72 years to Edna Letitia Humphrey. Dearest father of George (Shirley) of Deep River, Nancy Myers (James) of Napanee, and Marie Day (David) of Battersea. Dear Grandfather of Carolyn, Lianne, Bradley, Lorelea, Mark and Stephanie. Predeceased by 1 Grandson Brian. Great Grandfather to Brian, Tyler, Regan, Trent, Joselyn, Cohen, Justine, Taylor, Owen and Gianna. Brother of Tommy (Ruth), Ralph (Hazel), Russell (Grace), Stuart (Beth) and Pearl Hill (Oliver) . Brother in law to Bernice Leakey. Predeceased by 1 brother Ernest and 2 sisters Edith Elder and Irene Dowd. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden St. Gananoque on Wednesday evening from 7-9pm and on Thursday from 11am until time of service in our chapel at 1pm. Interment Gananoque cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the U.H.K.F.
