To Ruths' Family My sister BA and I were classmates in nurses training at KGH many years ago. I have many memories of the two of them getting into all types of mischief during those days . Ruth remained a dear friend of Bettys' until her death. I am so sorry that she is gone from you. Pat Warner Ball

Out thoughts and prayers are with Ruth's family. Ruth was an exceptional nurse and years ago she took care of our son Brandon, when he was sick with cancer. I actually still have a little frog toy that Ruth brought with her to work one day, and clipped it to Brandon's blanket. Brandon loved Ruth! Ruth, you are at peace now and maybe you and Brandon will meet once again and have a great visit. Give him a kiss for us Ruth!

Ruth's upbeat manner, good humour, and always positive attitude went a long way to making our visits to the cancer clinic back in the late 1980's more tolerable. We attended regularly with our 6 year old daughter who had leukemia. Ruth was a wizard with a needle, so that rarely did our little girl complain. She often put a smile on the face of both our daughter and us, and we are forever grateful to this wonderful nurse and person. By the way, our little girl is now 30 years old, doing great!

To all of Ruth's Family. I wish to express my deepest sympathy. I knew Ruth many years ago when she was my mothers nurse. What a wonderful, kind, warm, compassionate and needless to say, hard working woman she was. Truly she was an Angel here on earth and I am sure, she is an Angel in Heaven.
