Raised in Montreal, Gordon had a International career in transportation that expanded over the course of 40 yrs.
Peacefully at home on Saturday December 19, 2009. Gordon Modeland husband of Kay Modeland. Father of Terry LeBlanc of Victoria, B.C., Jayne Abrahamson (Kenn) of Ledgewood, N.J., Bob (Wendy) of Calgary Alta. Step father of Cathy Shott and Jackie Erlenback both of Syracuse N.Y.. Grandfather of Jason (Kyla), Chris (Michelle), Ronnie (Yuko), Nina, Callie, Lane, Melissa and Bill. Great grandfather of Ashley, Marley and Cypress. Predeased by his parents Sidward and Jeane Modeland, 1 son Gordon, 2 grandsons Warren and Gordon, 1 brother Terry and Gordon's 1st wife Dorothy. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden St. Gananoque on Wednesday December 23 from 12 O'Clock until time of service in our chapel at 1pm. Interment Gananoque cemetery.
