She left you early in your lives but she will continue to be in your hearts and watch over you through out your years. No words we can say will take away the pain you are feeling. It is traumatic to loose a mother, time will heal the pain and be replaced with the wonderful memories she created with you. It is with great sadness that I heard of Lisa's passing. I had the pleasure of travelling down her long road with her illness as one of her nurses. She was and is one of the strongest, bravest, funniest women that i have meant in my years of nursing. Enough though she may have been having a bad day, week or month she always was concerned with how her kids were, how Tim was doing etc...a true friend, mother and spouse through everything. She was strong when she needed to be but looked and excepted someone's shoulder when she knew she had to. I know this was a long hard battle but Lisa always took it in stride and tried to make each trip with us the best it could be for what it was. She will be greatly missed by her girls at KGH, and we send all our thoughts and prayers to Tim and the kids. It comforts my heart to know that she is in heaven comfortable finally at peace...probably having a drink and watching over Tim and the kids!

Sending our condolences to family and friends. Lisa's personality was contagious - always surrounded by friends and laughter. She lit up a room when she entered - so vibrant and full of life. Her memory will continue to inspire us to live life to the fullest. Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away. Live, love and laugh - something Lisa did wholeheartedly. She was a wonderful person who will be missed dearly.

Words cannot express the ache that is left in my heart. Lisa was the strongest person I knew. It did not matter if you were having the worst day of your life she could still make you smile. She was my Rock,I will miss the long talks that we had, The laughs that we shared and most of all her creeping me..or the other way around. Tim, Morgan, Matt, Mason and Family My deepest Condolences. Those we love remain with us For love itself lives on, And cherished memories never fade Because a loved one's gone. Those we love can never be More than a thought apart, For as long as there is memory, They'll live on in the heart. Losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. But her goodness, her caring and her wisdom live on, like a legacy of love that will always be with you. With deepest sympathy, Rest now my Friend xoxo

There is not just one memory I have to share, as every moment with my mom was special. She was my best friend and I have so many fond memories. When my brothers and I were young, mom would put music on after dinner and dance with us, some of our favourites were "countin flowers on the wall" mombo number 5, sweet caroline, anything from the Dixie Chicks, Believe by Cher and so many more. Growing up in the Country meant lots of time outside, playing baseball (matt once line drived mom with the ball when he was about 5, took everything she had not to curse), collecting rocks in the back field (She loved her rock gardens, we had two boulders on our front lawn), bbq's and bonfires, gardening and making our home beautiful (mom loved to redecorate and always made our house a home). I remember once mom bought a baby calf at the sales barn even though everyone said it was too small and would die....well mom nursed him (Wally) back to health and he lived a long and happy life with us, as did numerous other animals including the baby sheep mom would bring in the house to care for if they were being neglected by their own mothers. She had so much love to give. As we got older our play times changed to include parties, where myself and my closest friends would sit and share drinks, stories and songs before heading to Riversides to dance up the dance floor with mom. Some of my best adult memories were spent with our close friends and family in our own bar room, were we shared so many laughs. These are the times I will miss the most. Memories of football, basketball, and rugby games, where mom crazily ran down the field fearing her babies would get injured but so proud of all we could do. Memories of trips to and from university to fix broken laptops (I managed to go through 3 in one year and she always came to the rescue), filling my fridge with groceries when I was low on cash, taking me shopping when I was upset or stressed out. Mom was always the person I called when the slightest thing went wrong, and she would always show up and make it better. I don't know what I will do without her now. When my first car blew up on the side of the road and I showed up at her work in a general mess of stress and tears, she had it fixed in under a week. The things she could do. If I had a bad day at school there was always notes of love and encouragement and treats to make me feel better, spontaneous gifts to cheer my days. What I wouldn't trade now to have her back. Mom was the most loving person I have ever known, she loved her kids more than anything in the world and put us before herself time and time again. She may not always have had much, but she always gave us everything she could. Now all I have are my memories and the life and wisdom she has left me, and as I go on, I know that my brothers and myself will carry all of the love she gave us for the rest of our lives, and I hope that one day we can share that love with families of our own. Rest in Peace mom, you are with the angels now. I love you.

My earliest memories of childhood include Lisa. She was my first friend. We played in front of my house on Centre St. making mud pies. After moving to John St. we still played. Every weekend I think I was at Battams' house. We played snap on the floor, danced to the music that always played, helped Danny in the garden, swung on the swings in the yard, visited Mrs. Sly. We got older and soon the whole gang was always there playing kick the can and hide and seek. We got older and went everywhere, but came back to John St. and always made Kraft Dinner, left a mess and took off again. We got older and noticed boys, beer, and thought we could fool Danny with our excuses. We got older and went on our separate paths, but never lost the bond that we had. Lisa will always be a part of me that I cherish. When I see her children, I see her eyes...her legacy and her greatest joy.
