Uncle Bob and Gayle, I'm not sure if you remember me (June's daughter) but I wanted to let you know I am so sorry for your loss. I read it in the Chatham paper tonight.
Gayle: Joanne and I would like to express our sincere condolences on the passing of your Dad and Mom. We just found out the weekend when first Albert and then Joan called. I was saddened to hear of your Dad's passing earlier last week and shocked when Albert mentioned your Mom's passing. Your Mom and Dad's visits to the Chatham area were special visits given the geography between everyone. They never failed to spread their good cheer. I don't think I ever saw them without a smile on their faces and kind words to say. While my last contact was many years ago my memories of their Christmas visits and my first boat outing in Gananoque with your Dad will stay with me. I still don't like fish but the outing was enjoyable landing some perch and hooking onto a pike. Our thoughts are with you and your daughter at this time. The community will certainly miss your parents and treasure the moments they had with them. If you are down in the fall for a memorial service or visit I hope to get the opportunity to see you in person again. If you are in the area otherwise you are always welcome to stop by.
Dear Gayle: I was saddened to hear of the passing of your father and mother in such a short time period. Obviously, they were a close couple. May the pride they had in you and your daughter and your memories of them help sustain you in the future. I don't know if Grace United Church, or the Boy Scout Troop from that Church will ever again find such committed volunteers. My thoughts are with you at this time.
Gayle:- I just heard today about Ruth's passing . Unfortunately I will be away on the 19th but will forward a contribution to Grace Church. I probably knew both of them longer than any living person as I went to public school with Ruth at McKeough and all through schooling. This must be a very trying time for you and your family as both passed away so close together, My thoughts are with you. Take care
