Obituary of Robert Harper

Harper: Robert John (Bob) After a courageous battle at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday May 31, 2009 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Joy Gibbs of 60 years (Sept 13). Loving father of Jim (Karen) and Tom (Cassie). Cherished grandfather Bob, Ed, Melinda, Angela and Erica. Great grandfather of Claire. Predeceased by2 brothers Oliver and Don Harper and by 1 sister Mona Milks. Also survived by 5 nieces Catherine, Christine, Corinne, Sue and Kim, and by 2 nephews Tim and Gary. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden St. Gananoque on Wednesday from 12:00 until time of service in our chapel at 2:00 pm. Donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Lung Association, Gananoque Humane Society, or to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family. Gananoque Legion Br#92 will hold a service in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:45am.
