I realize it is 2023. I wanted to express my deepest condolences to the family.
I grew up with Rick, Ron Ken, the 3 sons of Lorne.
Lorne was a well accomplished and amazing man. Also friendly to us kids that hung around with his children.

Pat, Sue, Rick, Ron and Ken. Marjorie and I were very sorry to hear about your Dad. Your Dad touched the hearts of many neighbours, especially around the days of Pittsferry Lodge when a drop in at the Lodge would end up in a discussion on the latest political issues and a twinkling smile when you heard Lorne's view on how to resolve the blunders made by our politicians. My first memories of Lorne was when his name appeared as "Your Driver" in the Colonial Coach between Kingston and Gananoque. May your Dad rest in peace, he has lived a good life, and our support to the Chesebrough family in this time of sorrow. Roland and Marjorie Paddle

To the whole family, My sincerest condolences to all of you. I certainly have a lot of great memories of Lorne from the days of living in his & Jo's basement. No matter what I needed advice about sound advice would be there. No matter if I had eaten or not food would be there. No matter what had happened to me that day a loving hug would be there. Mostly I remember that later. My heart goes out to all of you in different ways. I know that Lorne will be missed by us here but Jo needs him in Heaven.
