Obituary of Margaret Hammond

Hammond: Margaret Peacefully at the Maple View Lodge, Athens, Ontario on Wednesday April 15, 2009 at the age of 88. Margaret Turner, beloved wife of the late Herbert Hammond. Loving mother of Thomas (Barb Serson), Peter (Louise), Phillip, Marianne Hammond (Sam Hartley), Dennis (Susan), Andy (Sharlene) and Mark (Linda Boon). Cherished and proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 3 brothers Jay, Joseph and Bernard Turner. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden St Gananoque on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Barnaby's Church, Brewer's Mill's on Saturday April 18 at 11:00 am. Rite of Committal, St. Barnaby's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to St. Barnaby's Church would be appreciated by the family.
