Obituary of James Bevins

Bevins: James "Jim" (Trap) Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday April 11, 2009 with his loving wife Florence at his side, at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Florence Arrowsmith and the late Alice Morton. Father of Patti and Jackie. Step father of Jim Bob Lappan, John Lappan, Janette Muttoo, and Jason Lappan. Predeceased by 1 son Bill, by 1 daughter Kate and by 1 step son Jeff. Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Florence Thompson (Bill) and Joy Davis. Predeceased by 1 brother Lennie (Bear) and brother in law Dennis Arrowsmith. Also survived by mother in law Florence Hampton, brother in law Barry Arrowsmith (Donna), sister in laws Janet MacDonald (Gary) and Brenda Arrowsmith as well as several nieces and nephews. Jim will be greatly missed by special friends Bud and Gretchen Huntley. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Wednesday April 15 from 2-4 pm. There will be no service. As expressions of sympathy donations made in Jim's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
