Obituary of James Ruttan

Ruttan: James Stewart (Jim) Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday December 21, 2016. Jim Ruttan in his 78th year, beloved husband of Barbara Ruttan (Sharpe) for 52 years. Dear father of Christopher, Peter (Helen) and Susan (Chris). Proud and much loved grandpa of Melissa and Zac Ruttan and Elizabeth McBride. Little brother of Mabel Shelley and Dorothy Bernier (John). Predeceased by his sister June Simpson and his parents Edith and Stewart Ruttan. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Wednesday December 28 from 1:00PM until time of service in our chapel at 2:30 PM. In Lieu of flowers, donations made to the Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Alzheimer's Society or to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
