Obituary of Ronald Earle

EARLE, Ronald (Ronnie) John Peacefully at the Carveth Care Centre in Gananoque in his 84th year. Predeceased by Margaret , his wife of 56 years, parents Leland Vaughn, Mildred (Gardiner), and brother Peter Earle. Survived by Jeffery (Lucy), Douglas(Barbara), Steven(Marni) Grandchildren Yuen, Ethan,, Leland, Daniel, Rebecca, Ava, and Sofia. Ron was a Comptroller for Stelco in Gananoque. He was a lifelong sportsman playing Varsity Football, recreational Badminton, basketball, and mostly hockey. He was possessed by golf, walking 36 holes on any given Saturday. Dad was also an accomplished paddler, competing in the Dominion Day Regatta, and was a lifelong Gananoque Canoe Club and Golf Course Alum. Dad enjoyed his family in retirement, and had a lifelong love of the St Lawrence River. Many thanks to the staff at Carveth Care in Gananoque for their care. Many thanks to all family and friends for the messages of support and care for Dad. A drop in a Tompkins Funeral Home will take place on Sunday November 27th, 2016 from 1 - 3 PM.
