Obituary of Peter Tingren

TINGREN, Peter - The family of the late Peter Tingren would like to express our sincere gratitude to our family, friends, neighbours, Peter's colleagues, and customers for your overwhelming acts of kindness and compassion during the loss of Peter. To those who sent food, flowers, cards, texts, emails, and memorial donations as well as those who attended the Celebration of Peters's life, we appreciate your thoughtfulness. Peter was a kind, and generous individual and we were humbled to hear your stories and tributes. To Reverend Christine Downey of the Anglican Christ Church, we thank you for the beautiful and meaningful service. To those who spoke at Peter's funeral and Celebration of Life - Richard Martin, Chris McCarney, Dwight Hall, Mimi Hoffman, Kendra Watkins-Wootton, we are deeply grateful for your kind words of tribute to Peter. You made us laugh and remember Peter's kind spirit. To Dave and the staff at Tompkins funeral home, thank you for your professionalism and kindness. To John Keilty, Lori Higgs and the staff of the Gananoque Inn, thank you for making certain that no detail was overlooked as we Celebrated Peters life and welcomed everyone who came to share with us. Thank you to Wayne Green and his team for having the Escott Cemetery prepared for us.To the staff of KGH Cardiac Sciences Unit - Dr. Thakrar, Dr. Chow, Nurses - Jennifer, Anya, Shelley, Cassie, LeeAnn, Rebecca, and Julie and Kate, and the many other professionals who assisted Peter, we are so thankful for the caring and compassion you showed to Peter and his family and friends while he was in KGH.
