Obituary of Mary Nalon

Nalon: Mary Peacefully at the Carveth Care Centre on Saturday March 7, 2009 at the age of 83. Mary Lappan, beloved wife of the late William J. "Bill" Nalon (1989). Loving mother of John (Barbara), and Mary Alice "Babe" (Keith). Predeceased by infant son, Michael. Cherished nanny to Angie, Johnny, Pam and Chris. "Big Nanny" to Emily, Ryan, Matthew, Cody, and Logan. Dear sister of Michael, Bobby, and Jimmy Lappan. Fondly remembered by sister-in-laws Martha Kellogg, Rita Siegner, and Florence Bevins. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden St. Gananoque on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on from our chapel on Wednesday March 11 at 11:00 am, Rev. Father Stan Alanen officiating. Rite of committal St. John's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy friends may contribute in Mary's memory to the Alzheimer's Society or charity of your choice. Legion Branch 92 will hold a service in the funeral home Tuesday evening at 6:45.
