Obituary of Rita Gagnon

Gagnon: Rita Marie Peacefully at the Carveth Care Centre on Wednesday March 4, 2009 at the age of 78. Rita Terry, beloved wife of the late Raymond Joseph Gagnon. Much loved mother of Rick (Brenda), Mike, Colette Maitland (Alex), Tony Vanon (Karen) and Elaine Elliott (James). Cherished grandmother of Christian, Adele, Natalie, Shannon, Josh (Jesse), Sam, Danielle, Jaime, Ivan, Simone, P.J., and Emily. Dear sister of Dorothy Ellis, Arnold and Wayne Terry. Predeceased by 4 sisters Muriel, Audrey, Doreen and Joan and by 1 brother Ron. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. John the Evangelist Church on Monday March 9, at 11:00 am. Rite of committal St. John's Cemetery. Donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
