Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday April 8, 2012. Edna Humphrey in her 96th year beloved wife of the late Wilford Leakey. Loving mother of George (Shirley) of Deep River, Nancy Myers (James) of Napanee and Marie Day (David) of Battersea. Dearest Grandmother of Carolyn, Lianne, Bradley, Lorelea, Mark and Stephanie and step Grandchildren Rodney and Jenny. Dear Great Grandmother of 10 Great Grandchildren and 4 step Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by 1 Grandson Brian and 4 sisters Georgina Warren, Eula Lyons, Mary Pogue and Grace Pierce. Edna is also survived by several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden St. Gananoque on Wednesday evening from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday April 12 at 11am. Interment Gananoque cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre) would be appreciated by the family.
