Obituary of Lucille Lee

Lee: Lucille A. (Bobbie) Lucille A. (Bobbie) Lee, passed away on September 30, 2016. She is survived by her nieces and nephews Karen Lee (Bill Guse), Deborah (Patrick) O'Connor, Rebecca (Steve) Brown, Regan Lee, Jason Lee, Maureen (Michael) Golab and John Lee Jr. She was preceded in death by her brothers (Patrick) Royal and John (Jack) Lee and her mother Grace Lee Palmer. Bobbie graduated from Gananoque High School and later as a Registered Nurse from Hotel Dieu Nursing School. She then moved to Detroit where she was Director of Operating Room Nursing at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn. She later returned to Gananoque and eventually retired from nursing. She enjoyed reading and watching golf and football on television. She was passionate about local politics and volunteered for the Gananoque Food Bank and was active in St. John's Catholic Church and related charities. She also owned a cottage on Hay Island. Her friends and family mourn her passing. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, October 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, 160 Stone Street South, Gananoque, Ontario. Bobbie requested donations in lieu of flowers to any of the following charities: St. John's Church Restoration Fund, The University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (Cancer Centre) or to the Ontario Veterinary College Pet Trust in Guelph, Ontario.
