Obituary of Eileen Starkey

Starkey: Mrs. Eileen A. (nee Marshall) Passed away quietly at her home in Gananoque on Thursday February 12, 2009. Eileen leaves her son Jack (Cathy), son-in-law Tom Brown and 3 grandchildren: Jack Brown, Tessa and Ted Starkey. She is predeceased by her husband Leonard and daughter Patricia. Eileen was the last member of the Marshall family of Montreal. A graduate of McGill university, Eileen and her family lived in Gananoque for many years. Eileen will be remembered by many former staff and students at Gananoque Secondary School, where she taught from 1965 - 1981. As well, she will be missed by many fellow bridge players, travelling companions, and her many good friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
