Veldman: Harmen
Peacefully at Trillium Centre, Kingston on Tuesday February 10, 2009 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of 64 years to Jansje Achterberg. Loving father of Derk Veldman (Wenda), Jansje Keates (Tom), Gerrit Veldman (Diane), Walter Veldman (Dianne) and Wilma Pigeon (Kim). Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Dina Molder, Woutje Vandenklote and Marie Vandenklote all of the Netherlands. Predeceased by 1 sister Jan and by 3 brothers Tom, John and Walter. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Saturday February 14 from 10:00 am until time of Service in our chapel at 11:00 am. Interment Olivet Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
