Obituary of Ronald Wood

Wood: Ronald Daniel Peacefully at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital Palliative Care on Thursday August 4, 2016 in his 81st year. Ron is survived by his daughter Rhonda Grant (Steve) and son Dale (Sandy). Proud Poppa of Nicole (Brandon) and Kody (Teisha) Predeceased by his wife Isabell and infant son Brian. Dad was a proud farmer and friend to many. He enjoyed being on the farm and helping anyone who needed help. The family would like to thank Mary Pearson who spent many hours talking to Dad about farming, recipes, life past and present. Thanks Mary for everything and making his stay at St. Mary's possible. Special thanks to all staff of the Palliative Care Unit, 2 South at St. Mary's and the professional staff of Tompkins Funeral Home, Gananoque. Cremation has taken place. A private family Inurnment will be held at Sandhill Cemetery Sandhill Road, Seeley's Bay at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Gananoque and District Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
