Delaney: Corleen Eva
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved sister, Corleen Eva Delaney. In the evening of July 27, 2016, Corleen, at the age of 57 years, passed peacefully of natural causes at the Albert Street Group Home in Kingston Ontario.
Corleen was born on August 11, 1958 in Kingston Ontario, the youngest child of Isobel and Frederick Delaney. She was a vivacious young girl who loved exploring, trying new things and making people laugh. She excelled in physical activities, especially gymnastics. She also loved the arts, spending hours drawing, painting or colouring. Later, she drew pleasure from very long walks and following her exercise program. Everywhere she lived through her years, the staff, her caregivers, were drawn to her likeable personality, sense of humour, and radiant smile.
Corleen was predeceased in death by her mother, Isobella P. Brown (Delaney) her father, Frederick S. Delaney, and her brother, Fred Delaney Jr. Dear mother of Bradley Delaney. She is survived by her brother, John Delaney, her sisters Dianne Delaney, Mary Delaney, Anna Delaney, her sister-in-law, Elaine Delaney, nephews Bill Laidlaw, Ken Laidlaw, , Peter Delaney, and niece, Megan Delaney.
