Obituary of Leo Dwyre

Dwyre, Herbert "Leo" A Memorial service will be held for Herbert (Leo) Dwyre, 88, at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 175 Stone Street South, Gananoque on Saturday, May 2nd at 11:00 a.m. Leo passed away on January 18, 2009. Internment will be at the Union Cemetery at 1:30p.m. Leo leaves: his wife of 68 years Lois (O'Malley); his three daughters, Linda (Crailey) Gillies; Louann (Paul) Smith and Laurie (Lance) Rushworth. Predeceased by their only son Larry in 1991. Also survived by eight grandchildren: Michael (Lorraine) Vincent; Mark Vincent; Annamarie (Cameron) Savage; Tim (Cathy) Dwyre; Jennifer (John) MacDonald; Stephanie Bennett; Matthew and David Rushworth. Plus 12 great grandchildren: Ashley Vincent; Christopher & Morgan Vincent; Jory, Brienna, & Joshua Robinson; Jack, Trevor & Claire MacDonald; and Brody, Logan & Hunter Bennett. He is also survived by two sisters Anne Nelson, Teresa Hamilton and one brother Bill (Georgia) Dwyre. His parents Herbert & Margaret (Fleming) and brothers Harry & Joseph predeceased him. Donations in Leo's memory can be made to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (Gananoque) Memorial Fund, Royal Canadian Legion #92, Gananoque and the Gananoque Golf & Country Club.
