Obituary of Lois Hansen

Hansen: Florence Lois It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Florence "Lois" Hansen after a 3yr battle with cancer on Saturday July 2, 2016. Lois was a devoted wife of 65yrs to Peter. She is predeceased by her parents, Halvar and Helen Krakstad of Halifax NS and by her older sister, Greta Valardi. She was the much loved mother of Deborah (Gary), Janet (Brian), and Ross. She will be forever loved and missed by her grandchildren: Erin (Christoph), Adam (Helena), William and Ellen and by one great grandson Jonas. Lois is survived by one sister June Morris and many nieces and cousins in Norway, BC and Ont. Special thanks to Vera and Dick Harding, Sandy and Gerry Redmond for their friendship and support. At her request there will be no visitation or service. Donations in memory of Lois can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
