How sorry to learn of Bill's recent passing. He was such a fine highly respected family man, soldier, farmer & great friend who will be sorely missed. We so enjoyed our time with Bill for our little groups' anniversaries & birthdays at the "Deli" with Rob. Also our frequent visits to Tim's &/or McDonalds as well as the socialable meals at eac others'homes. Additionally we travelled together to participate in the Royal Canadian Dragoons Association activities throughout the years. Bill hosted a wonderful BBQ at his farm last fall which was a chershed memory of him & his devoted membership in our Association.

I am so thankful that I visited Uncle Bill on my birthday last October. I asked Uncle Bill, when he sees my father Jimmy to say we love him and miss him. He quickly replied sorry Bill I am not going to the same place. I now know where I get my humour from and I hope it will be as vivid for as long. We were all blessed with his presence. Jacqueline and Jim - Bev and I are deeply saddened that such a fine man as your father has been taken from us all. We have so many fond memories of Bill that it would take forever to list them. His presence and his singing at our many St. Patrick's Day parties was very special and will never be forgotten We are very sorry that we cannot get back from Florida in time to attend his final service. Please accept our deepest condolences and take some peace by remembering that he spent his final days in the place he created and loved - Kirkland.
