I have many wonderful memories of Vera, having worked for 20 years in the building next to where she lived. We spoke almost daily in the summer, she would tease me from her chair on the stoop about how I was getting slower walking back up the hill from the theatre with each passing year, and then we would spend a few minutes admiring the river while I would catch my breath. She was a regular visitor, she knew all of us by name and we all knew her, and was also an active volunteer here for many years. I know that we will all miss her. On behalf of all of us at the Playhouse I offer condolences on Vera's passing.

I first met Vera playing bridge and also at Mary Bruners' cottage. I also know her from the golf club..I so enjoyed talking with her as I would be going to the playhouse to do 50/50 raffle.
