Dear John, Dan, Chris, Haruko and Mitchell. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. How we enjoyed the gardens at the Playhouse, but first of all, your garden before the move to Gan, right here on King Pitt Road. Dolly's jolly smile and sense of humour will be missed by many. Our best wishes from all the Westenbergs.

Dear John, We were saddened to learn of Dolly's passing. We remember her for her cheerful good-natured neighbourliness and always looked forward to her (often uproariously) funny commentaries on life in Gan and on the River. Like many others, we enjoyed her gardens in town and appreciated the way she generously shared the blossom harvests from her River garden. Knowing you and Dolly was one of the pleasures of our life in Gananoque. Our deepest condolences to you and your family. Kathy and Bill

God has picked his BEST gardener to come grace His Garden. Your 'job' of showing all your team how to keep St. John's looking the very best has been very successful, Dolly. Now you can help Him send his rain and sunshine down on all of us, so that we, too, can show others what a great teacher and example you are. But you Faith was the BEST flower you could ever show to everyone, as John can attest, when he said he wanted what Dolly had and started to grow his own! Rest in peace, dear friend.

John, words cannot express the sorrow we feel with the passing of Dolly. We will always remember her every time we look at a flower, no matter whether it is in a garden or a forest. Our door and heart will always be open to you whenever you need a friend to 'share' Dolly with. God Bless and comfort you and your family. Love, Joy & Dick

She was a very special lady who I had the honor of working with at H.D.H.for many years. I was even trusted to babysit. Her gladiolas were always a welcome sight at work as were her pumpkin pies. She was someone I could always share a joke with or come to with a problem. She was my friend. You will be missed "Fred".

I was so sorry to hear about Dolly. I remember her so well from many years ago when I worked with John. My sincerest warm wishes to John and the family. She was a great lady and will be greatly missed. It has been many years since I worked with John but he and Dolly would open their home for staff retreats and she was always so hospitable.

I will remember Dolly for many things, but the top two would have to be way she always welcomed Chris's friends with open arms and a smile, and the way she worked circles around me any time I volunteered my meager help with yard work. She was a strong and loving person, and she raised two very fine sons. I was blessed to know her.

We're so sorry for your loss. One of my fondest memories as a teenager in Gananoque was spending time with friends, Chris, John and Dolly in their beautiful property. Dolly was always as welcoming as her beautiful flowers and plants that surrounded her home. We're sorry we can't be there during this time of need but hope to see you soon. Maybe this summer when Dolly's flowers bloom.
