Smith-Simpson: Vera May (Nee Hill)
Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Kingston General Hospital, on Tuesday January 5, 2016 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Smith and the late Clifford Simpson. Much loved mother of Derrol Simpson, Donna Doyle, Diane Gratton (George), Jack Simpson (Ruth), Ted Simpson and Sherry White (Fred). Sadly missed by 1 step daughter Marilyn Cumpson (Tim). Predeceased by 1 son Gary Simpson. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service in our chapel at 12:00 pm. Interment Morton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
