Obituary of Jeanne Adair

Please share a memory of Jeanne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Adair: Jeanne It is with great sadness that we announce that Jeanne Irene Adair (Wood) passed away suddenly but peacefully on Saturday October 17th, 2015. Jeanne is predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas Adair, her sons Kelly and Shaun and her daughter-in-law Judith. She leaves us to carry on with great memories and create new stories; Tim (Peggy), Annalee and her brave and perfect grandchildren Jae River, Caley Patrick, Caitlin Brett, Alli Akira, and Luka Shaye. A tireless volunteer, golfer, gourmet cook, community advocate, artist, decorator, carpenter, duster, style queen, bridge player, scotch taster, debate champion, and above all, a woman of ultimate grace and unmatched strength and resilience. Her club girls, potluck gang, river gang, beach committee and many good friends will miss her sharp wit and sense of community. We will too. A special thank you to the staff and friends at Fox Run Retirement Home. With your caring and exceptional fun, Jeanne enjoyed every day and lived in complete comfort. Please join us to celebrate her incredible life on Friday at 1 p.m. at St. Johns Catholic Church followed by a reception at the Gananoque Inn. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Gananoque Wheels of Care or to the Gananoque Canoe Club would be appreciated by the family.
