Mumford: Vera Gwendolyn (Graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1934) Peacefully at Helen Henderson Care Centre, Amherstview on Saturday October 17, 2015 at the age of 106. Vera Mumford (nee Conner), beloved wife of the late Roy Mumford. Much loved mother of Doug Mumford (Mary) of Bath, and Susan Marriner (Lawrence) of Alberta. Cherished grandmother of Colleen Shipley, Robert Mumford, Kimberly Richardson, Patricia Chabot and Christopher Marriner. Great grandmother of Chantelle, Keira, Melissa, Miranda, Mitchell, Kayley, James and Emma. Great great grandmother of Madison. Predeceased by 2 sisters Thelma Duggan and Winnifred Conner and by 1 brother Willmer Conner. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Vera will be fondly remembered by her good friend Tess MacMillan. A Graveside Service will be held in the spring at the Gananoque Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
