Obituary of Frank Ottenhof

Ottenhof: Franciscus Jacobus "Frank" (July 14, 1942 - August 2, 2015) (Frank was a proud 50 year member of the Plumber's Union Local 221) Frank died peacefully at home on Sunday August 2, 2015 with his wife Bonnie at his side. Frank immigrated to Canada from the Netherlands with his parents and 8 siblings in 1948. Frank is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bonnie Leavis. He leaves behind his children Leslie (Brian), Jan (Tracey) and Emily (Alan). Beloved Grandfather of Benjamin and Grace. Frank is survived by sisters Claire (John), Susan and Marie and brothers Henry (Myra), Peter (Marilyn), Phillip (Donna), Arthur (Barbara), Joe (Carol) and Ben (Shauna). Predeceased by his parents Matthew and Margaret, brother Matt, sister Margaret, sister-in-laws Karen and Sheila and brother-in-law Lee. Frank loved the Island where he and his wife Bonnie met when they were children. Frank also loved fun & games and he established many fun traditions for his family and friends which will be carried on in Frank's memory. Rest in peace. Mass of Christian burial will be held in St. Philomena's Church, Howe Island on Friday August 7 at 10:30 am. A very special thank you to the Howe Island volunteer fire department.
