Obituary of Georgina Goodfriend

Goodfriend: Georgina Frances (Tootie) Passed away at Trillium Ridge Nursing Home Kingston on Wednesday June 17, 2015 at the age of 84. Survived by Sister Anne Hutcheson (late Bill). Daughter of the late George and Alice Goodfriend. Predeceased by Sister Marie (Tom) Rothwell, Betty (Bernie) Byrne, Connie, (Bob) Lappan, Phyllis Goodfriend, and by brothers John and Frank Goodfriend. Survived by sister in laws Rita and Joanne Goodfriend. Also survived by many caring nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends on Howe Island. Many thanks to the wonderful and kind staff at Trillium Ridge Nursing Home where Tootie spent her last 5 years making friends, and will be greatly missed. Also many thanks to her caring nieces, nephews and friends who looked out for Tootie over the years. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Philomena's Church, Howe Island on Saturday June 20 at 11:00 am. Rite of committal, St. Philomena's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to St. Philomena's Church would be appreciated by the family.
