It has been my pleasure to have met John. He felt such happiness and pride on finishing the illustrations, for his Mom's second book, "The Big Footed Grog from Grumple ", written by Gretchen and illustrated by John, himself. John will always remain in the hearts of his loved ones!

John was one of the most sincere individuals I've ever had the pleasure of calling friend. I had only known John for 2 years but our meeting seemed kismet. Despite his medical struggles he was always smiling and facing each new obstacle with determination. He adored his children and many times mentioned how they meant the world to him. I know that myself and anyone else who had the pleasure of meeting John will never forget him. My deepest condolences to all of Johns wonderful family and I pray that you find comfort in knowing what a positive impact he had on the world around during him.

Gretchen and family...I am a friend of John's from TD Bank...John was an amazing person who was extremely excited about his work with his Mom and the Grog's...he will be deeply missed by myself and my whole family as we got to know Desiree and John jr. a few years ago at Christmas....God bless you all but especially his children whom he adored.
