Dear Jim,Tom, Melinda, Ed and Tammy I was very sorry to hear of Joy's passing. She and Bob always had such a good sense of humor. It seems I have been in and out of Joy's life all my life from growing up in the neighbourhood with Jim and Tom then doing home care for Joy and Bob and finally at Carveth helping to look after Joy. I have fond memories of Joy over the years. I will remember her as a gentle lady with a smile in her heart. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Connie Turcotte

My family is so very sorry for your loss. I will always treasure my memories with Joy and I am so glad to have been able to see her in the past year at Carveth, along with my kids so they could see their great-grandmother's best friend and what a beautiful woman she was. As a little girl I was a frequent visitor at Bob and Joy's with my grandparents. I loved animals, which they always seemed to have at least one of, and on one occasion I remember them letting me feed their gerbil french fries and then it biting my finger. I can't remember if it was Bob or Joy who said it must have thought my finger was a french fry too. That memory always makes me smile to this very day. Please know that our prayers are with your family at this time, but be comforted in the fact that she is at rest in the arms of her Heavenly Father now and one day you will see her again completely healed and totally healthy.
