Obituary of John Wood

Wood: John Frederick (Jack) (Veteran WW2 R.C.N) Passed away at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday July 13, 2008 at the age of 84. Dear father of Yvonne and Natalie (Paul). Sadly missed by 1 brother Boobie. Cherished grandfather of Yvette, Alison, Marsha, Tracy, Ashleigh, Megan and Christina Great grandfather of Grace, Andrea, Shayden, Amy, Jayden, Jacob, Olivia, Carter and Jordan. Brother-in-law of Colleen Wood. Predeceased by 1 brother Douglas Wood and by 1 sister Marjorie Offord. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from our chapel on Wednesday July 16 at 1 pm. Followed by cremation. As expressions of sympathy donations made to Gananoque Minor Hockey or to the Gananoque Legion Br# 92 would be appreciated by the family.
