Obituary of Blain Reed

Reed: Blain Austin Peacefully surrounded by his family at the Carveth Care Centre on Tuesday February 10, 2015 at the age of 92. Blain Reed, Loving and devoted husband of the late Joy Alma Reed (nee Burns) for 71 years. Proud father of his two sons Dwayne (Nora) and Roger (Barbara). Cherished grandfather of David (Katrien), Paul (Christie), Angela Geris (Adam) and Sarah. Great grandfather of Ben, Ella, Connor and Charlotte. Step grandfather of Brian (Elmira), Christine (Jeff) and David (Cheryl). Step great grandfather of Aria and Colton. Will be sadly missed by his sister Myrna Kelsey-Reynolds. Predeceased by 1 brother Floyd Reed (Gwen) and 1 sister Margel Reed. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in our chapel on Monday February 16 at 2:00 pm. Internment Gananoque Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
