Obituary of Earl Woodley

Woodley: Earl Jewellery store owner dies at age 89. Earl was born in Belleville Ont. on Dec. 29th 1925 the son of Russel and Lillian Woodley. He was the oldest of five children. Predeceased by younger brother John and survived by Doug Woodley, Betty Lavalle and Richard Woodley. Earl was married to Marjorie Ethelwyn Truesdell for 60 years before her death 5 1/2 years ago. Earl and Marj had one child, Peter Charles Woodley who married Karen M Griffin. Karen and Peter have two children, Peter Lucas (Luke} and Ashley Elizabeth. Earl and Marj owned and operated Woodley's Jewellers from 1960 til 1990. Earl passed away peacefully at Carveth Care Centre on Friday morning Jan. 16th 2015. Many thanks to the Carveth staff for their help at this difficult time. By Earl's request there will be no wake and no funeral. Thank you for all of the e-mails, phone calls and facebook condolences. We will be having a celebration of Life of both Earl and Marj in the spring of this year. We will miss you Dad, but we understand that the time comes when it is better to reunite with your true love, Mom. We love you.
