Obituary of James Droogh

Droogh: Adrianus Johannes (Jim) Peacefully surrounded by family at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday December 21, 2014 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of 62 years to Betty Droogh (nee Vandervoort). Loving father of James (Trudy), Connie Sparling (George), Anneke Thompson (Ron), Arnie (Lynn) and Trudy deRuiter (Case). Cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Elizabeth Vanderburg (Bep) of the Netherlands. Predeceased by 14 brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home, Gananoque, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Barnaby's Church, Brewer's Mills, on Wednesday December 24 at 11:00 am. Rite of Committal St. Barnaby's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to St. Barnaby's Church would be appreciated by the family. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Briggs, to the Nursing Staff on Kidd 9 as well as Victoria YY for their care and compassion over the last couple of weeks.
