My deepest sympathies to Betsy and her family. Also to Jean Scott and Ed. I didn't know Thomas, but I went to school with Betsy and I know Jean quite well. This is a very sad time and the sorrow and hurt will subside in time. Friends and family are a great asset and will help you over the hard times. With a heavy heart I send my condolences to Betsy, Sharon, Jane, Paul & Ed. Tom was always one of my favourite people! Growing up, we spent many days hanging about the shop listening to his stories about racing & other shenanigans. Going to the shop to see Tom was always a highlight. Old cars & tractors to play on, as well as the joy rides we got from Paul in the old VW bug ( that's where my lead foot came from I think ) what more could a kid want. I feel blessed that for the last two years Tom & Betsy made it the Matthews residence for our reunion, where we got to shoot the breeze just like old times. I will never forget you Tom!!
