LATIMER, MARJORIE ANN (nee GORDON) Marjorie Ann (Marge), born March 14, 1930 passed away peacefully on June 11, 2014 at the Credit Valley Hospital, Palliative Care Unit in Mississauga. Marjorie was predeceased by her daughter Jocelyn (1987), son Michael (2011) and husband Ron (2010). Loving mother to Denise (John), Richard (Melanie), Ken (Cindy), Heather (Larry) and daughter in law Nancy. Marjorie will be dearly missed by sisters Betty and Rita (predeceased by brother Gary and sister Irene). Proud grandma to Grant, Claire, Mark, Eric, Nick, Curtis (Katy), Craig (Sarah), Cam (Michelle), Russ, Jake, Max, Kelly and Shannon. Lovingly remembered by many great-grandchildren. Marjorie was a strong, resilient woman with immense compassion for those in need and animals. She was a great friend to many due to her fun, outgoing, caring nature (with a competitive streak for euchre). She is sadly missed by her four legged companions, Lucy and Emily. If desired, donations may be made to your local animal shelter or Christ Church, Gananoque in Marjorieʼs memory. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Credit Valley Hospital for the excellent care provided during her hospital stay. A special thank you to Dr. Novosedlik and Rev. Canon Jim Woolley for their support during her illness. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 14 between 11:00am and 12:30pm at Tompkins Funeral Home in Gananoque. Funeral service to follow at 2:00pm at Christ Church. A reception will be held at the Christ Anglican Church Parish Hall following the interment.
